Value of Time at ETC 2017, 2-day Seminar Announced
The value of time is a key statistic used in transport modelling, appraisal and business case development. It is of fundamental importance to forecasting the revenue for toll roads, the benefits in cost-benefit analysis, the demand in travel choice and the viability in a scheme’s business case. A scheme’s viability can stand or fall depending upon the value of a travellers time.
Recently, there have been new value of time studies in various countries including the UK and Scandinavia, and the Netherlands is planning a new study. Some of this data has been re-analysed. What do these studies show? What new analytical methods can be deployed and what do they show?
Come to the Value of Time seminar at this year's ETC to get up-to-speed with the latest ideas; to analyse, discuss, and to influence the way measurement and use of the value of time develops in the future.
