AET Transport and Mobility Forum: FREE Webinar 29th March 2023

AET Transport and Mobility Forum presents:

New ticketing schemes in public transport

FREE Webinar: 29 March 14:00–16:30 CET (in-person, in Vienna) 14:30–16:00 CET (online)

To tackle climate related mobility challenges, novel public transport ticketing solutions have emerged throughout Europe. There is growing experience and evidence about both pilot periods and some schemes established for years so far. At this event, we are going to discuss three key examples after a brief presentation by a leading expert, namely:

  1. Klimaticket (Austria), by Hanna Merkinger, One Mobility

  2. 9-Euro-Ticket (Germany), by Gerhard Probst, Probst & Consorten

  3. Free public transport (Luxembourg),by Christophe Reuter, Ministry of Mobility and Public Works of Luxembourg

Hanna Merkinger is product manager for the KlimaTicket at One Mobility, the company funded in Austria for the distribution of the annual pass and the development of a digital sales platform for all public transport tickets.

Gerhard Probst is the CEO of Probst & Consorten consultancy, a leading company in Germany for all aspects of marketing in public transport. Since its establishment in 1997, P&C has advised on several tariff and financing reforms for sustainable transport solutions.

First government advisor Cristophe Reuter leads the strategic mobility planning directorate at the Ministry for Mobility and Public Works of Luxembourg. His team publishes the national mobility strategies.
