ETC 2024: Explore Transport Modelling Innovations
Transport Modelling Sessions at this year's ETC!
Transport modelling is at the heart of an evidence based approach to solving some of the major challenges facing transport as we work to build a more sustainable future. We have a packed agenda for this year’s European Transport Conference, showcasing the state of the art in-agent and activity-based approaches, as well as the use of models for the key questions facing policy makers. Hear about and discuss the latest innovation and modelling developments at ETC 2024, led by a diverse range of speakers from across the industry.
Day 1 has two streams including an opening session on Modelling Flanders, as well as sessions on reliability, cities and regions, long distance travel, sharing behaviour and EV uptake.
Day 2 begins with a panel discussion on quickscan modelling, followed by two streams involving sessions on active travel, distributional analysis, scenario modelling, ABM transition and a joint session with the Data committee on data sources for ABMs.
Day 3 has a single stream including modelling public transport, advances in traffic assignment, model realism and modelling parking.
The Transport Modelling programme committee invites you to participate in this 52nd conference, which allows us to network, socialise, exchange ideas and reflect on innovation in transport modelling over the past few years. We look forward to seeing you in Antwerp!
This year, the Transport Modelling sessions at ETC are sponsored by PTV Group. Thank you so much to PTV for their support.
