European Transport Conference 2023: Transport Modelling programme

Transport Modelling Sessions at ETC!

Transport modelling is at the heart of an evidence based approach to solving some of the major challenges facing transport as we work to build a more sustainable future. We have a packed agenda for ETC 2023 this year, with a particular focus on agent and activity based models. Hear about and discuss the latest innovation and modelling developments at ETC 2023, led by a diverse range of speakers from across the industry.

  • Day 1 has two streams including sessions on micro-mobility, achieving net-zero, reducing traffic demand and industry leading city modelling.

  • Day 2 has two streams, with a whole day of sessions focused on improvements to activity and agent based modelling, and a set of parallel sessions on modelling the vehicle transition to electric vehicles, traffic assignment and learning lessons from modelling conflict and unique events.

  • Day 3 has sessions on modelling equity and changing behaviour.

The Transport Modelling programme committee invites you to participate in this 51st conference, which allows us to network, socialise, exchange ideas and reflect on innovation in transport modelling over the past few years. We look forward to seeing you in Milan!
